Handcrafted exclusively from solid tonewoods, the J-29 Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric is constructed of Sitka spruce and rosewood. Its scalloped 1930'' advanced X-bracing pattern provides a rich and deep tone while belting out an incredibility wide dynamic range that is balanced across the tonal spectrum. 2016 upgrades include a 2016 engraved truss rod cover and an L.R. Baggs Element VTC preamp system for ultimate plug-and-play ease. The fingerboard edge has been softened to comfortably fit the contour of the player'' hand. A finer grit sandpaper and polishing compounds have been used for the high gloss finish. The premium setup utilizes state-of-the-art German-engineered Plek technology to create the finest playing surface possible. The J-29 is hand finished for the finest feel and playability, and its smoother hand rubbed and oiled fingerboard and bridges will help them last longer and maximizes the wood''s natural vibrancy.
