Alligators are native to the southeastern USA and should not be confused with very similar appearing Crocodile which is native in many locations around the world. Once considered an endangered species, Alligator numbers are thriving in the southern US due to hunting restricts and wild life conservation efforts. Alligators are a valuable natural resource for their delicious meat and luxurious exotic skins.
Please consider the item in the photos is a stock picture and is exemplary of the one that will ship. Each strap will have its own unique tile size, shape and natural markings. This watch strap is made from Black Genuine American Alligator tanned in a shiny glazed finish.
The strap is a standard FLAT replacement band approximately 2.0mm thick and is 7.5'' or 190mm long. The point is approximately 4.5'' or 115mm and the buckle end is approximately 3'' or 77mm in length. These measurements do not include the buckle. The edges are carefully hand-painted and even the loops are Genuine American Alligator. The strap is unstitched and stamped on the backside for authenticity purposes.
The strap comes standard with a 16mm silver, nickel plated buckle, an easily changeable 16mm gold, brass-plated buckle and two complementary spring bars.
