20 years ago Dyson set a new standard for vacuum cleaners by introducing the world's first bagless cleaner; 20 years later we have set a new standard with the DC52 - Dyson's Cinetic vacuum cleaner by introducing a machine with no filters to wash, maintain or replace. The Dyson Cinetic vacuum cleaner hasn't been engineered to just pass an IEC test -- which is actually less than a bin full of dust. Instead Dyson engineers tested it with 10 years' worth of aggressive test dust, testing over 9,000 hours. The DC52 Dyson Cinetic vacuum cleaner has been engineered so that in its lifetime it will never lose suction.

It was his frustration with vacuum cleaner bags that spurred James Dyson on to invent the world's first bagless vacuum cleaner thirty years ago. But Dyson engineers are never satisfied and constantly work to improve Dyson's patented cyclone technology.

Other vacuums have leaky seals, inefficient cyclones and poor performance, relying on filters to trap the remaining dust. Dyson's latest vacuum cleaner, Dyson Cinetic DC52, is different. It uses patented Dyson Cinetic cyclone technology to capture the finest dust. The flexing cyclones are so efficient that there is no need to wash or maintain a filter.
