Huawei WS323 SG

(3-in-1 Router/Repeater/Client) WIRELESS ROUTER

Installation : Before proceeding with the steps below please follow  Factory Resetting the Huawei WS323 instructions

1. Plug the WS323 to a power point
2. Search for the wireless available devices (via your Wi-Fi device)
3. Look for HUAWEI-xxxxxxx
4. Enter the network security WLAN Key as it is written on the Quick Configuration sticker or on the WiFi Extender
5. Click Connect
   • Note: On some operating systems this button may be called Join or Next .  In case you receive message Choose whether to enable sharing and connect to devices on your network please select Yes.
6. Check the status of wireless network
   • Note: Connected indicates that you have successfully connected to WS323
7. Launch a browser and go to http://mediarouter.home or http://192.168.33.1 
8. Type credentials
   • Username: admin
   • Password: admin
9. Click on login
10. Please select device working mode. (middle one for Wi-Fi Repeater)
11. Click Next to configure Wireless Settings
12. Click Scan
13. Look for SSID from the Wireless AP List
14. Select your wireless access point (the Wireless Network name of your modem)
15. Type the wireless password for your access point or router in the field labelled Key
16. Click Connect
17. A message Congratulations, You have finished all of the setup should appear
18. Scan for WiFi connections and search for the WiFi Extender (SSID will be something like: HUAWEI-xxxxx). You must connect to the WiFi Extender once at this stage to complete the set up process.
19. Enter the WLAN Key (password) on the sticker in the WiFi Extender box or on the back of the WiFi Extender
20. Once you are connected to the WiFi Extender, the set up process is finished. Try browsing to websites to confirm the connection is complete.
21. When you move between the WiFi Extender and your modem, they will transfer you automatically between the units to get the best WiFi signal. Once the WiFi Extender is connected to your modem, you can connect to either the SSID on the WiFi Extender or the SSID on the modem.
