Featuring dual built-in omnidirectional microphones the DR-701D can record up to 6 tracks simultaneously with separate adjustable input levels for each track and records to SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards up to 128GB. There are four XLR/TRS inputs with phantom power, a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack input, 3.5mm Camera In/Out and an HDMI input that can be connected to your camera''s HDMI out for recording remotely via the camera''s record button if your camera sends HDMI signal triggering. Additionally, SMPTE Timecode can be input through the TC IN connector to add recording start times to files and Timecode generator (RTC) allows recording start times to be added to files even when there is no timecode input. With tripod mounts on both the top and bottom of the unit, the DR-701D can be mounted above or below your DSLR or video camera as well as on a follow-focus cage. The DR-701D records at resolutions up to 24-Bit/192kHz and runs for over 5 hours at 16-bit/48kHz with 4 AA batteries.
