Then I saw the crack, so it will be going straight back to Walmart. That is the only feature that would get 5 stars from me. The chain is a short 30" which in our case doesn't even cover the cord hanging between the shade and the wall. It would have been better looking for the chain to cover the cord down the wall. Instead we have a bare cord across part of the ceiling and down the wall. To turn the lamp on you must pull a very short chain that hangs inside the shade against the bulb. My husband attached a cord to the chain so it is easier to turn it on and off.
