.The Asics Onitsuka Tiger Corsair is a classic runner that kick-started the jogging boom in the 70s. When the Corsair first released in '69 they were touted for their increased cushioning, arch cookies, full-length midsole, and thicker heel for shock absorption. They feature a suede and nylon upper, "vintage" treatment on the soles, "Tiger Stripes" on the side panels, padded collar, and a thick midsole.
