The Smooth-Cast 320 resins are sister products to our popular Smooth-Cast 300 Series of bright white plastics, but readily accept pigments and fillers such as SO-Strong color tints. Applications for Smooth-Cast 320 Series resins include reproducing small to medium size sculptures, making prototype models, special effect props, decorative jewelry and taxidermy (bones, antlers, teeth etc.).

- Fully cured castings are tough, durable, machinable and paintable.
- Castings resist moisture and mild solvents.
- Shore D hardness: 70.
- Pot life: 7 minutes.
- Cure time: 30 minutes at room temperature (73°F/23°C).
- Colour: Off White.
- Viscosity: Ultra Low
Features:
- Easier to color using SO-Strong color tints.
- Low viscosity for easy mixing and pouring.
- Comes in 2 parts: Part A and Part B. Part A and Part B are to be mixed in 1A:1B volume. No weighing scale is necessary.
Important:
- Applying A Release Agent - A release agent is necessary to facilitate demolding when casting into or over most surfaces. Use a release agent made specifically for mold making such as the Ease Release 200 available from our online store. A liberal coat of release agent should be applied onto all surfaces that will contact the plastic.
- Safety - Use in a properly ventilated area (“room size” ventilation). Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk. Wear vinyl gloves only. Latex gloves will inhibit the cure of the rubber.
- Store and use material at room temperature (73°F/23°C). Warmer temperatures will drastically reduce working time and cure time. Storing material at warmer temperatures will also reduce the usable shelf life of unused material.
