Prevents door kick-ins and easily repairs broken interior door frames. The Door Jamb Pro 24 ID reinforces wooden door frames (and the hinges) to virtually eliminate the possibility of the door frame ever failing. The Door Jamb Pro 24 ID is powder-coated white (it can be repainted any color), 23.75'' long, and made from 14 gauge cold-rolled steel. It mounts on the interior side of a interior residential door. It''s made to fit on all interior entry doors that are 1 3/8'' thick (which most residential entry doors are). Included are 7 - 3'' long Torx screws and the installation drive bit to install them. These screws attach the product to the door frame and they are also used to reinforce the hinges. NOTHING must be removed to install this product (except some screws). It mounts OVER TOP of the existing door frame (opposite to the hinge side) in about 15-20 minutes on average using just an electric drill.
