The fountain composition is 80% plastic/20% electrical hardware. Dual power options: run this fountain off a standard 3 volt pin AC adapter or 2 "AA" batteries (both not included). 
<br />This fountain is 10 inches tall; 5.8 inches long; 4.2 inches wide and packed in a retail color box.

<br />NOTE: Customer have to properly prime,(turning on an off) the fountain prior to using. Priming allows for the fountain to warm up and release any air bubbles that may be in the pump.

<br />Also, the rocks should be placed in front of the screen where the water falls and not on the screen.
