After unplugging, the unit came on and ran like you'd expect... However, the next day, the unit wouldn't power on again. After some troubleshooting I discovered a design flaw; if the unit is off for about 5 minutes, it will not power back on unless you jump start it with the power cord. Just touching power to it for a split second and removimg from power, will "wake it up" and the unit will run for hours.
