Kanthal A-1 is a ferritic alloy rated for use at temperatures up to 1400° (2550 °F). The alloy has high resistivity and great oxidation resistance. It is typically used in furnace applications, such as electrical heating elements in high-temperature furnaces for heat treatment, glass, steel, ceramics and electronics industries. Perfect for building coils and for various resistance wire projects. Kanthal A1 24 AWG gauge resistance wire 0.51mm diameter , 2.01'Ω resistance.
