Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Bottle Starter Kit

With Closer to Nature's award-winning range of BPA-free bottles, switching between breast and bottle feeding is extremely easy.

With a specially designed teat developed with breastfeeding experts and mothers to mimic the breast's natural flex, stretch, and movement, these bottles make feeding time easier for mum and baby. The soft silicone teat feels like skin, and gently elongates and flexes during feeding to mimic natural breastfeeding action.

Super sensitive Easi-Vent valve
The slow flow teat with super sensitive valve eliminates excessive air flow, so little ones ingest more milk and less air.

Breast-like shape
The breast-like larger shaped teat of the bottle allows baby to latch on easily, and supports the transition between bottle and breast.

Three-way compact shape
The compact shape of Closer to Nature bottles allows baby to feed in a natural position and to be closer to mum or dad. The easy hold bottle can be held in three ways – cradled comfortably in the hand, gripped in the same way as a traditional wide neck bottle, or held from the base – making feeding comfortable for everyone.

Easy to clean and use
Closer to Nature bottles and teats are easy to clean and fill. They are microwave- and dishwasher-safe, light, and easy to hold. The bottle is marked in millimetres and ounces, and has a hygiene seal cap to keep germs out and drips in.

Baby-safe
All Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles are BPA-free for total reassurance.

Teat collapse resolution
There are two reasons a teat may collapse. One is an indication that your baby is ready for a faster flowing teat and may be sucking so hard that the teat cannot release the air fast enough and collapses. The other is that the Closer to Nature Easi-Vent teats are made from very soft silicone, which can remould when not in use, for example when on the shelf in store.
You will have noticed a small tent-like vent on the inside of the teat – this should have a small slit along it which allows the airflow through the bottle, and if this remoulds it will cause the teat to collapse during a feed.
All you need to do to rectify this problem is to rub the valve between your fingers and thumb until the slit re-opens. You will only need to do this once and the teat should then function as normal.
