The Fostex AR101 is a compact and lightweight audio interface for video production, compatible with Apple''s iPhone 4/4S/5, as well as DSLR camera or PC. The dedicated, easy to use iOS AR101 app can be downloaded from the iTunes store to control Pan, Low Cut, Limiter, and Output Level. The AR101 improves the audio quality of iOS devices using the supplied USB 30 pin dock cable, and works with the iPhone 5 and iPod Touch (5G) using the included Apple genuine Lightning 30 pin adapter. The AR101 includes 2 mic/line inputs for the supplied condenser mics, a stereo line output for DSLR camera audio recording, a USB out for piece audio recording, a headphone out for monitoring input and output signals, plus a rotary encoder for level and pan controls. The device is USB powered and is compatible with various camera rigs via the cold shoe rail. It comes with an aluminum hand grip for recording on the move, or it can be mounted on a tri pod for stationary use. The included device holder allows the AR101 to be used in either landscape or portrait orientations. A pair of inner earphones is also included in the package.
