The bacteria is natural, non-pathogenic and will reduce the organic waste that turtles release.
Studies have shown that the bacteria used in MICROBE-LIFT/Bacterial Water Balancer can reduce or eliminate pathogenic bacteria by out competing them.
MICROBE-LIFT/Bacterial Water Balancer works best when used with MICROBE-LIFT/Rock & Substrate Cleaner.

- Shake Well Before Using
- Start Up Turtle Tanks: First use MICROBE-LIFT/Extreme Water Conditioner to remove chlorine, ammonia and chloramines that may be present in the water.
- New Tanks:
- Add 1 tsp. (5mL) of MICROBE-LIFT/Bacterial Water Balancer for every 10 gal. (38 L) of tank water once a week for three weeks
- Then follow established turtle tanks direction below.
- Established Turtle Tanks
- Add 1 tsp. (5 mL) of MICROBE-LIFT/Bacterial Water Balancer per 10 gal. (38 L) of tank water bi-weekly and after any water changes.
- You should also add theMICROBE-LIFT/Bacterial Water Balancer after cleaning filters, changing filters or 48 hours after adding medications.
