What is diatomite?

Diatomaceous earth is a natural resource created by deposit of fossils of diatom shell which is one kind of algae.

It is a familiar existence that has been used for years.

It is excellent in water absorption and hygroscopicity, it is often used for interior materials of houses, and it exhibits moisture conditioning effect for prevention of condensation and mold.
