Does chewing on pen caps and pencil erasers sound familiar? Made in the USA, ARK's Krypto-Bite Chewable Pencil Toppers are a safe solution for kids and adults with the oral sensory need to chew. Chewing can be a very effective way to help calm, self-regulate, and focus, so these chewy tools are a perfect pairing for homework, note-taking, and more. As an added bonus, they also add extra weight to the pencil for increased hand awareness. They're modeled after the same prism-shape as ARK's Krypto-BiteTM necklace, but with a hollow tube on one end to conveniently fit over standard #2 pencils. Sold in a combo pack: 1 red (soft and chewy, recommended for MILD chewing), 1 green (Xtra Tough for moderate chewing), and 1 blue (Xtra Xtra Tough for those who like to chew on firm items).

Designed, manufactured, and assembled in the USA by ARK Therapeutic, these toppers are constructed out of medical grade, FDA compliant materials that contain NO lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex. Color hues may vary slightly. Best practice is to use with eraser-less pencils. Sold here in a set of three toppers, with one free eraser-less pencil included :). Highly recommended for individuals who have autism or sensory needs.

Caution: This product is not a toy. Recommended for ages 6-7 and up (which is also the age that children typically start using standard pencils). Although these chew tools are made out of sturdy, medical grade materials, no chew tool is indestructible. Some individuals (particularly those with heavy oral needs and aggressive biting/chewing) may be able to damage the tools - how long they last depends on the sensory needs of the individual as well as other variables (stress/anxiety levels in their life, etc).
