Setup was really easy and the buttons controls on the tv were well thought out as I could reach them all when sitting in the passenger seat. 1st problem was the remote control didn't work, but as I said the buttons on the unit were well placed and it was pretty easy to use it manually so I overlooked that. Picture quality was fine and the sound was adjustable on both monitors which came in handy when one kid fell asleep. The straps were very sturdy and the provide 2 types to choose from (Short and Long). That said, for some of my newer DVDs the sound adjustment didn't work at all and the movie would blast at the max no matter what. Again I could overlook that. The final straw was after a few movies the screens just died. I think it was the car adapter that blew a fuse after going over a bump but basically the set was useless and will be going back. One other thing to note, unlike some of the Phillips machines this one does not have the ability to pickup where the movie left off. I have some files that give an error message that says the Video Codec is not supported. So I converted the file to another format and finally the video played, except now an error message says the Audio Codec is not supported LOL. Needless to say, I haven't been able to figure out exactly what codec is I should be encoded the files with to get them to play from my USB drive. It would be a great help if the company would provide this info. I thought finally I'd have a DVD player that would allow me to play other media besides DVDs. Bummer but the main screen works great and that's the one my baby watches anyway. Life saver in the car! I think I will exchange them before time runs out due to the other screen.
