Officially licensed by Universal Studios Licensing LLC, the NeoLev Back to the Future Miniature Hoverboard (1 included) with 12'' Single Track operates on the principle of Diamagnetic Levitation. A special black acrylic base contains a special array of magnets (aka, ''track'') which creates a repulsive force against the pyrolytic graphite board allowing for levitation at a height proportional to that depicted in the movie. The track has a slight bend akin to a half pipe allowing the board to oscillate back and forth for a very long time. And the board has excellent lateral stability. It makes for an incredible desk conversation piece. Other four (4) boards from movie are sold separately. Wheels not Included.
