It shapes in a natural contour, provides the "lift and separate" fit that looks good under clothing, and the straps stay put. They are also wide and padded enough to not dig in. Cons: The back isn't as wide as I would like. The band is on the narrow side, and so doesn't have any smoothing aspect to it. The wires have very little padding - just a thin layer of fabric really. Because of these two features, the bra is not comfortable for me to wear for long periods of time. The back digs in a bit (even though it lays pretty flat on my skin), and the wires get uncomfortable. It does look good, however, so for shorter periods of wear (up to maybe 4 or 5 hours), it's fine. I've found some wirefree styles that give the same or better fit and support, which was a surprise to me. They also have much greater all day comfort. Under the right conditions, my nipples do show through. However, this bra is comfortable and covers the entire breast area. I don’t have over spillage on the sides and top. I realize that has more to do with getting the right size bra, but sometimes, the inexpensive bras don’t come close to fitting well and this one does (I wear a 38D). It’s perfect for lose fitting clothes. More revealing if clothes are form fitting.
