What to avoid in a shampoo
You need a shampoo that cleanses your scalp well, otherwise pores may become blocked, leading to hair loss.
You should AVOID CHEMICAL SHAMPOOS with harsh chemicals like "Sodium Lauryl Sulfate", this is like a bleach, which after everyday use may cause hair follicle miniaturization and may also be toxic if abosrbed through your skin.
Please read the label, some organics shampoo do contain Sulfates, "Sodium Lauryl Sulfate", "Sodium Coco Sulfate", or "Sodium Laureth Sulfate".

Did you know SLS
SLS or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is a foaming agent that works by corrosion.
SLS used in chemical shampoos can be effective in removing dirt and oil from your hair, forming that formy lather you get from chemical shampoos.
However, the benefits may be short lived if you experience health complications as a result of using a chemical shampoo with SLS.
DANGER OF SLS
It’s an eye irritant. It was shown to cause cataracts in adults, and is proven to inhibit the proper formation of eyes in children.
In children, SLS has been linked to eye irritation and poor eye development. Even at very low levels, the product may be absorbed through the skin and cause issues with eye health.
A number of studies have indicated that SLS will remain in a person’s system (Brain, Heart & Liver) for up to 4-5 days which means if you are using a non SLS free product at the same volume and same rate of application then Sodium Lauryl Sulfate will remain a constant in your body.
Regular use of chemical shampoos containing SLS can result in scalp and hair problems as it can have an impact on the protective layers of the skin and hair, causing your scalp to become very dry.
Daily use of chemical shampoos containing SLS may also promote the development of dandruff, hair loss and an itchy scalp. Your hair follicles may also suffer damage as a result.
If you experience scalp problems then we recommend that you buy an SLS free shampoo in order to prevent hair and scalp damage over time.
Of course, these traditional products are the easiest ones to buy, and they are cheaper, but when it comes to what is good for you and your hair, do you really want to settle for the cheapest, most convenient thing? Of course not!
