I placed it in my gun safe and it wouldn't stop turning on and off. It kept turning off and on every thirty or sixty seconds based on the setting--I tried both time intervals. I had the safe door closed and locked with no movement inside and it kept turning on after being off for just a second or two. This would be an awesome light if not for the aforementioned problem. I think I'm going to return it for another copy of this same light because I'd love it if only it worked properly. It really lights up the safe when it's on. If you don't need the motion sensing feature and just want to turn on manually, then this is a great light. My only criticism would be the Velcro they send with it. Does not adhere well and this is on two of these units purchased in different years. One would think they could use something a little better. I replaced the velcro on both of mine. Nonetheless, I like the features and lights on this. The motion sensor works well, I set mine to 1 minute. The light is very bright, bright enough for me that is. And the sensor works great. One of the reviews had mentioned that the sensor was defective, not the one I got .
