Bentonite Clay Hair Mask

A Bentonite clay hair mask is said to have many benefits compared to most of the hair masks that are hyped in the market. The question is, what does the hair mask do?

To make a clay mask for hair using Bentonite clay, follow these steps:

  1. Put two teaspoons of Bentonite clay in a porcelain or plastic bowl
  2. Add two teaspoons of fractionated coconut oil
  3. Add one teaspoon of argan oil
  4. Mix the Bentonite clay powder with the oils by stirring to achieve a good consistency
  5. Once you get the right consistency, add some essential oils (around 15 t 20 drops).
  6. Stir thoroughly to get a good consistency that you can use to saturate or mask your hair with.

Apply your Bentonite hair mask on your hair ensuring that you saturate the whole mane with the mask. Cover with a polythene cap and leave it to rest for 30 minutes. Wash the clay out using clean water. There is no need to co-wash or shampoo the hair.
