SPLINTWRAPS are a new custom designed improvement to the old wrist wraps. Although the regular wrist wraps do provide some level of compressive support (if wrapped properly), heavy load will still cause backwards extension and painful pressure on the wrist during pressing exercises.

Based on the principle of medical splints, we developed the SPLINTWRAPS wrist wraps for unparalleled wrist joint immobilization. The safest and most effective way to bench press is with straight wrists. Vertical alignment with neutral wrists keep your arms directly under the load for the most efficient power transfer. Heavy load tends to extend your wrists dorsally (backward) leading to wrist pain and bench press form failure. Not only are you fighting the unbalanced weight (load is now behind your vertical forearms), you are also struggling against the pain from hyper-extended wrists.

Engineered to support the natural ergonomics of the human hand, it''s been designed to keep your wrists in neutral position and directly under the load. You can also adjust the bend using standard tools or a vice to custom fit your natural angles, and depending on level of wrist extension support you prefer. The support plate can also be easily removed to use just the compressive wraps for dynamic movements (Olympic lifting, functional exercises, front squats, etc).
