General rule for insect repellent sprays:
1) When using for the first time, spray a small quantity
onto one arm and wait for about 1 minute to see
if there is any itchiness or discomfort.
This is to test for possible skin allergy.
2) Read product label carefully to know what to do
if spray enters the eye or mouth by accident.
3) Do not spray directly to face area.
Spray onto your hand and apply to face,
avoiding eye and mouth areas.

Other so-called plant-based mosquito repellents may be cheaper than this REPEL spray but are you sure of their effectiveness based on third-party validations? 

How do I know if REPEL spray is value for money?
1) There is another plant-based extract available in Singapore which retails @$6.90 for 30ml only. Based on 118ml, it costs $27.14, which is more expensive than our REPEL product at less than $25!
2) Frequency wise, many repellents require the user to re-apply every 2 hours while the REPEL can last 6 hours before next application. So if such a competing brand costs $14.90 and have the same 4oz/118ml in content, it will be used up 3x as fast as REPEL. Thus for the same amount, REPEL will be about 50% cheaper AND assuming both brands are equally effective! But this is usually not the case as many natural oils failed to match REPEL for lasting protection.

A cheaper and unproven repellent may not prevent the powerful Aedes mosquito from biting you! Price should NOT be the deciding factor in this type of critical situation. Let us be wise consumers who know what is really important!
