Xihu Longjing Tea is a kind of green tea grown in the Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. It has been known for its green leaves, rich aroma, sweet taste, and beautiful shape. Xihu is its originated place, longjing is a spring pool.Here shown to you is Mingqian First Grade, it is produced by hand ,the leaves is complete tender tea buds, one bud with one leaf. The period between Qing Ming and Grain Rain (from April 5 to 21) each year is the prime time to get the highest quality Longjing tea.
Xihu Longjing tea leaves are heated early in processing (after picking) to stop the natural "fermentation" process,so Longjing tea leaves experience minimal oxidation. Mingqian first grade is one leaf one bud, flat-shape ,smooth.When steeped, the tea produces a yellow-green color, soft and mellow flavor, long-lasting fragrance, refreshing and sweet taste , with a somewhat floral fragrance.Because it's picking time is very short and less yield, the taste more fresh and mellow, so the price is more higher.
Xihu Longjing tea contains Vitamin C, amino acids, and has one of the highest concentration of catechins among teas, second only to white teas. It is a very helpful for weight lost, sickness prevention, and stress relief.
How to brew this tea :
1. Put 3-5g into teacup
2. Fill with boiled water of temperature 80-85℃
3. Stay for about half minutes you can begin to drink.
4. It can be brewed for 3-5times.
