Wow! I love this tool! I was surprised to see so many less-than-positive reviews so I figured that I should tell you how great this works for me. As a middle-aged woman with thinning, crepey skin around my eyes, I have to be particularly careful when applying eyeliner to my lower lash line. This sponge is perfect for applying powder shadow to my lower lash line. I don't scrape this along my lash line. Instead, I dab shadow and pull it gently. It works great and gives me a fine line with no fallout. Because the sponge is so dense, you can really pack on powder shadow and distribute it well. I plan on buying at least five more of these sponges. I've found that it also works great to smudge lip liner for an ombre effect. And it's great for applying a highlight eye shadow color to the inner corners of the eyes. I'm still figuring out new ways to use this sponge.Written by a customer while visiting eyeslipsface.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportI must have gotten the wrong brush......12/16/2009Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews12/16/2009by gnateleeThis 'brush' is not really a brush but is a 'molded sponge' type of applicator. I think the size is perfect for smudging for the smokey eye, or simply smudging waterproof eyeliner before it 'sets'. You may also use it with a 'light hand' and define the crease in your upper eye area. I do not find this of poor quality, I did pay [$] for it and feel that was a steal, but with that price, I can simply throw one away and use a new one as needed. This applicator may also be used to place a 'highligher' color in the inner corner of the eye or using the right color for 'you' pick a powder that is almost your skin tone, but a shade or two lighter and use this applicator to 'trace the bow of your top lip' and 'trace just in the middle on the bottom lip' to give the look of fuller, pouty lips. I am afraid that anyone that uses these brushes and states 'they are of poor quality' I say "what did you expect for [$]?" and if you learn how to use each brush you will buy several of each and instead of trying to clean them, just purchase, let's say 6 of the same brush and that should keep you going for at least a year!Written by a customer while visiting eyeslipsface.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportRead all reviews
