An exceptional Montblanc Monte Rosa pen of the late 60's. Made out of black precious resin, the signature Montblanc material which gives the pen a unique shine but also it is a scratch resistant. The pen features chromed trimmings which makes for a stunning combination with the black body and cap. Due to it's length it has a perfect writing balance, grip, weight and feel in the hand. Montblanc signature star located on the top of the clip. Very beautiful rhomboid shaped ink windows, and crisp imprints on the cap "Montblanc Monte Rosa". The pen is in NOS never used condition, never inked, with its original nib "F" size sticker on the body. The pen is oversize at 135mm, one of the biggest of the Monte Rosa pens, it takes an great amount of ink. Super smooth piston action. Easy to clean and maintain; removable nib unit with a simple unscrew action. The star of the show is the fully flexible nib which just splits in two when touching the paper. The nib is elongated, long and slim thus with a very good viewing angle. With this nib no pressure is needed to write bigger sizes, simply a sunning writer. The pen will write up to 3B tipple broad. The nib is suspended on a original ebonite feed and feed ring which provides for a great ink flow. One of the best vintage Montblanc Monte Rosa Pens all-time.
