The main compartment is accessed through the back panel for easy access, even with your skis, snowboard, or ice axes strapped through the front. The avalanche gear compartment is accessed through the front panel for quick access during emergencies. Osprey also equipped the Kresta with an insulated hydration reservoir and tube that prevent your water from freezing. The Kresta carries snowboards vertically or horizontally, skis diagonally or at an A-frame, and a helmet at the front. The helmet carry system stows away when you''re wearing your helmet. This pack also features a strap that secures climbing ropes, and a fleece-lined pocket that prevents goggles from getting scratched.
