The Fitter secures on the post with 3 set screws provided and then the globe clamps on to the fixture with 2 sP.R.Ing type tension screws.(also provided) This fitter is made to accept only round globes with the standard 5 1/4" opening. (see our other listings for globes). / The fitter alone measures 6 1/2" in diameter and is about 2 1/4" in height to the top of the socket. The socket included is a medium base and includes wiring for installation as pictured. The fitter is black in color and is made of a very durable polycarbonate material.
