It is warmer than I expected which was good. the only issue I had was the buttons that were sewn* on. To lay on top of it is slightly uncomfortable because of the big bulky buttons. And you are unable to cut them off because they hold the batting together so if you cut them off the batting will come loose and will fold in the wash causing lumps inside the comforter. The back is also made of almost a nylon material which slides easily off the bed. The material also feels like a velour.
