Protune unlocks the camera's full potential, delivering minimally compressed, cinema-caliber video optimized for professional productions, and advanced manual controls for photos and video. Flex your creativity with customizable settings for Color, ISO Limit, White Balance, Sharpness, Shutter speed, and Exposure—and enjoy the greatest degree of manual control available in a GoPro camera.

Protune Settings:

White Balance

Adjusts the overall color tone of videos and photos. Options for this setting range from 3000K to 6500K and include Auto and Native. Lower values result in warmer tones.


Color

Allows you to adjust the color profile of your video footage or photos.

ISO Mode

Applies only to video and determines how the ISO Limit setting is interpreted.

SettingDescription
Max Uses the current ISO Limit setting as the maximum ISO value. The ISO value that is applied might be lower, depending on the lighting conditions.
Lock Uses the current ISO Limit setting as the ISO value. This value does not change in response to the lighting conditions.


ISO Limit

Applies only to video. In low light, higher ISO values result in brighter images, but with greater image noise. Lower values result in lower image noise, but darker images.

ISO Minimum and ISO Maximum

Apply only to photos and let you set a range for the camera’s sensitivity in low-light environments.

Sharpness

Controls the sharpness of your video footage or photos.
