The Scream 25 backpack is the most versatile backpack made by Mountainsmith. Using lightweight Robic fabric, the Scream 25 weighs in at just over a pound, and stuffs conveniently into its own top lid pocket for convenience when storing for travel. This bag is originally designed for use as a supplement to a backpacking set up to be used as a summit pack, but it is used for so much more. This is a great bag for travelers that need a small day pack at their destination, lightweight gym bag, or it carries ropes and harnesses to the crag well for climbers.
This latest version has been upgraded to include a sternum strap and an energy gel stash pocket. Additional features include a top lid stash pocket with key fob, trekking pole tool loop, deep side mesh pockets, compression straps, hydration sleeve and port, safety whistle, and heavy duty haul handle. Combine all of those features with the best lightweight fabric on the market (Robic) and you have one of the best packs on the market pound for pound.

- Diamond air-mesh shoulder straps feature an anti-sweat, Durable Water Repellent finish; lightweight webbing hipbelt helps stabilize the load
- Top-loading main compartment is topped with a single-pocket top lid that fastens with a single vertical compression strap
- Internal hydration sleeve and exit port accommodate a reservoir of your choice (reservoir sold separately)
- Side mesh pocket is sized to fit a 32 oz. water bottle (sold separately)
- Dual loops let you lash tools or trekking poles to the exterior of the pack; side compression straps take up extra volume and help stabilize the load
- The Mountainsmith Scream 25 pack can be turned inside out and stuffed into its own front accessory pocket for storage or to make a great pillow
