While the backup camera video show up on the phone screen, the phone is connected onto backup camera via wifi network, you can still have incoming phone calls or dial out, however, the 3G/4G will be disabled until the wifi backup camera is disconnected. Video image might have about 0.1 to 0.2 second delay depend on the distance from the camera to the phone, and signal strength.
