I have purchased one or two pairs of these boots every year since 2010. They do break down with use, but since they are so cheap, it doesn't matter that they don't last forever. The non-slip feature truly does work, and the steel toe has saved my feet on a few occasions when I dropped logs on them. The boot isn't lined very well, but I always wear thick wool socks and long pants. When I do wear these with shorts (mowing the lawn) I do have to wrap a piece of cloth around the top edge of the boot to protect my calves from the top edge, but if you wear these with long pants they are very comfortable. I do wear mine about one size larger than my normal size in order to accommodate thick socks. I recommend any user to do the same. Recently I found these on sale so I stocked up and purchased 3 pairs at the same time. Take that as a promotion. I wore them maybe 3 or 4 times a week for 2 months, and within that time frame the back part above the heel ripped in two. The top of the boot rubbed my legs for the longest time, and finally got over it. I recommended these to my brother after I first got my pair because I was overall pleased other then the minor leg discomfort. He bought a pair to use for the same purpose and his broke in the same spot within 2 months. His also broke on the front where it bends on the top of the foot. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I will not buy these boots again. I bought them due to being steel toe, rubber boots, because I'm around horses all day, but I won't buy again. I'll go back to the Brahma Steel Toe Boots before I buy these again. I wear a size 9 in most women's shoes, in these I wore a 7. I can't accurately base an opinion on the size accuracy though because I am a woman and these are men shoes.
