Developed by an award-winning manufacturer, the Startmonkey400 is capable of jump starting standard 12V (1200 Cold Cranking Amps) vehicle batteries up to 15 times before it needs recharging. Quick and easy to use, it will jump start your vehicle in 6-8 seconds once attached via the heavy duty crocodile clips.
To Work Out Your Vehicle’s CCA (Cold Cranking Amps)
Locate your car battery - there will be a sticker attached to the battery that will show the CCA rating.
Works With
The Startmonkey400 jump starter system is suitable for use on both standard cars with a CCA rating of up to 1200 and larger vehicles such as small commercial vans, 4x4s, ATVs, etc that have 12V batteries. It can also be used to jump start motorbikes and boats such as RIBs.
Battery Capacity
The Startmonkey400 houses a high energy 21000mAH lithium polymer battery which is capable of jump starting a standard 12V (up to 1200CCA) vehicle battery up to 15 times before the Startmonkey400 requires recharging.
LCD Display Screen
The integrated LCD voltmeter displays the vehicle battery condition from 0.1V ~ 15V. The voltmeter will be activated as soon as the Startmonkey400 is connected to the vehicle’s battery and to de-activate, simply hold down the On / Off button for 3-5 seconds.
LED Light Array
On the front of the Startmonkey400 is a 4-segment LED array. When the Startmonkey400 is connected to the battery, the LED array will flash GREEN to visually confirm that the Startmonkey400 is on. To check the level of charge in the Startmonkey400 at any time, simply press the button once to show battery level. When the Startmonkey400 is fully charged, all 4 segments of the array will be GREEN. When it is 3/4 charged, 3 segments will be GREEN and when it is 1/2 charged, 2 segments will be GREEN. When the Startmonkey400 only has a 1/4 charge left, the LED will flash RED.
Stylish and Compact Design
The Startmonkey400’s compact design means it can be left in your glove compartment or trunk until it is needed. Made from robust materials, this portable jump starter system weighs just 2.4Lbs and measures only 8.3 x 2.6 x 2.5inch.
Low Static Waste
Thanks to its low static wastage, it will still retain 75% of its charge for up to 1 year without use. It is recommended that the Startmonkey400 is recharged every 3-6 months to keep it in top condition and improve efficiency.
Recharging the Startmonkey400
Once used, the startmonkey400 can be recharged using the supplied 12V in-car charger or the 16V universal AC mains charger.
