But given the very few option in car DVD players I took a chance. That too got it for the Black Friday deal price. The screen resolution was pretty good. And the volume not too loud yet clear for kids while we can enjoy our music from the car audio. There is an audio out jack on both units. Didn't look or feel cheap at all. The remote works only if u directly point in front of the screen. U can't operate from the shotgun. But you can press the buttons on the player if u know which is which in the dark. The games can be played in any unit. Just plug in the game controller and the game screen turns on. I wish the connecting USB wire was long so I could tape it to the floor. It's just odd to hang in the air. Will be annoying if there are 3 ppl in the back. Bottom line I love it. Will keep the kids entertained. Good basic player. Especially for $49. I have no qualms yet. Wish I had bought the extra warranty because by the time we found out it had quit working, Walmart could do nothing for us.
