This has lines written in the viewfinder marking the distance from the bottom of the golf flag to the top of the flag. It doesn't say what the flag size it accommodates. My understanding is the flag size in not always 7' tall. If this is your sole purpose, then this will probably do just fine for you. as a general idea but not perfectly precise. Like I said, I wanted to measure distance and there is not always a flag pole in the distance so for me, it did not serve its purpose very well. It is a cheap version, made of plastic but should work if you play golf. I don't play golf so I can't be certain of that.
