It does take some practice. Practice makes perfect! The best thing to do is put a base coat, then use the same color as the nail art next (just in case you put the strip in crooked or have to cut it). Lastly, put a top coat on. Let dry.The art lasts one week and sometimes a few more days depending how much I do like yard work or dishes, etc. with minimal chipping. I will put another top coat on a few days later if necessary.It takes me about 20 minutes to do my own nails once a week, but compared to going to get them professionally done at a fraction of the price, it is worth my time! I've been a long time user of Sally Hansen nail polish strips and found they were getting harder and harder to locate. These Coconut Nail Art strips are pretty much identical to Sally Hansen, but half the price. These strips are a bit more petite than Sally Hansen, but this works best for me. The application was super easy and fast. The box includes a little nail file and a cuticle pusher. I think it took me about 30 minutes to do ten fingers. I've had these strips on my nails for 8 or 9 days and they are just now cracking and getting ready to come off.
