Taiping houkui tea is grown in Anhui province. It's renowned for its shape: two straight leaves clasping the enormous bud with white hairs. The leaves are deep green in color with red veins underneath. They are a large-leaf variety found only in Anhui province. Taiping Houkui leaves are harvested once a year, by hand. The picking time is on April 20 to May 5.It is interesting that direct production of this kind of tea is needed for only one day, so as to keep the tea fresh.
Taiping Houkui tea is a famous green tea, the big size of leaves are different from the other tea, they are big, thick and pale green with wavy edges.When you pour the boiling water on it, you may see the shoots of the tea spread out slowly, every shoot has two leaves with one sprout together ,some shoots float on the water while some sink down and forms a beautiful contrast, and the smelling of houkui tea can spread faraway.

Brewing method:
Do not use boiling water brewing tea, generally about 85º C is appropriate. The more tender the tea, the more green, brewing water temperature is low, so that the tea can be soaked green and bright, refreshing taste, tea nutrition is also less damaged. Could brew 3-4 times.
