This is not a small watch that an 8 years old would wear, but its size is perfect for teens to adults. The material is nice and the screen is big and bright enough to read the numbers. Also, the buttons do press in and out without hard presses. Finally, the watch is simple to use. My nephew set the watch up in 3 minutes.
