If you use a brush (not the little sponges that normally come with eyeshadow), they can look quite nice. You may need to build up the color on some of them, but it's been great for being my only palette...and look how cheap it is! If you're on a budget, you should definitely consider looking at this palette. Also, so you know, the photo online is a bit warmer than how it looks in person.P.S. My favorite shade is shade 7!
