リーガルリリーは中世期のフランスの君主の紋章であり、メソポタミアや古代エジプトで聖母マリアの象徴でもあるとされています。ユリ科は中国国内の山を発祥の地とし、湿地のアヤメをシンボルとしてフランク王国のクロヴィス1世にも使われたといわれています。リリーはスレンダーな白いトランペットのような威勢の良い花をつけ、オレンジ色の花粉をもちます。その香りは恍惚と夢中にさせ威厳があります。

The Royal Lily was the emblem of French monarchs in the Middle-Ages. The lily isa Marian symbol used in Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt. French legends claim thesymbol to be a stylized representation of a marsh iris adopted by Frankish KingClovis, despite the fact that the bulb, of the Liliaceae family, originated in theSichuan Mountains of China. A dashing flower, when the lily blooms it reveals slenderwhite trumpets, exuding a fragrant powder of orange pollen. Intoxicating and ravishing,its scent is sovereign.
