In terms of effectiveness, this deodorant was fantastic. It lasted the full 24 hours before my next shower, and even on particularly hot days, it kept my underarms mostly dry. Steel Courage's smell is hard to describe, but it's not a bad smell at all. If you've smelled other "manly" hygiene products, you'll know what this guy smells like. The only small negative is that Steel Courage sometimes left some white marks on my clothes after I applied the deodorant. It wasn't often, and most deodorants run into this problem, but I thought I'd mention it for posterity. I'd recommend this product for any male who needs a deodorant stick that will work for a long time and smell good doing it. The scent is very manly and smells great, my wife loved it. I used the deodorant in the morning before I went to work. It seem to work all day the scent and preventing any sweat on my shirt. There was no white residue that came off either which was nice. After work I went to the gym to work out and it stayed on throughout my workout! I could still smell the steel courage scent even after sweating my butt off. It did lessen my sweat but obviously didn't keep me from sweating 100%. It stayed on so well that I didn't feel like I smelled disgusting after a hard workout. I would recommend to anyone who needs to stay fresh all day throughout activities. I used Steel Courage after showering every day and the product kept its promise in keeping me dry and smelling good all day long. Steel Courage does have a pleasant smell that wasn't overwhelming. I didn't notice any white streaks on my clothing, but I would recommending not using too much, especially when wearing darker shirts. I'd recommend this product for anyone who needs a more powerful antiperspirant/deodorant . I sweat a lot, but thought I would give "Steel Courage" a try. I really, really like it! It helps stop the sweat, even when on a run or landscaping (both of which I do regularly) and it smells good throughout the whole day. Great product!
