It disassembles the whey protein that are also included in mother's milk, and lowers its allergenic properties (to 1/100th the levels of ordinary milk). The levels of bitter taste and acid odor are far lower than any other allergy-use milk on the market, and this makes it much easier for babies to drink. It contains absolutely no lactose. It is composed of fructo-oligosaccharides and nucleotides, which are easily digestable. Also, DHA-creating alpha-linolenic acid and linolenic acid are combined with good balance, so that the overall fatty acid composition is as close as possible to that of mother's milk. Care has also been taken to improve the digestion and absorption of fat, and minimize burden on the digestive tract. The osmotic pressure is also close to that of mother's milk.
