The ones I bought in the past were attached to a radio and light. They always ended up falling and breaking. My husband doesn't take long showers anyhow. He is in and out like NASCAR. This mirror is the perfect size and the suction is really good. You stick it and forget it. He really likes the way he can hang his shaver on it, the other ones were not so simple in design. Anyway the price is good and the item needs a clean smooth surface to adhere to. The two suction cups are held on by using a lever system, a little moisture on the suction cups and pressing kind of hard to the location to be placed on and then lowering it while holding pressure will result in a secure attachment to the surface. Like I say you have to press rather hard to get a secure attachment. One of the things that I found was the mirror warped and is slightly distorted, I fiddled around with the mirror and was able reduce the fun house mirror effect. I have tried relocating it further away from the water in case it's just too hot for it and it hasn't made a difference. I would not recommend purchasing this product if you're wanting to place it in your shower space. Otherwise, the mirror size and shape is good. The suction works well with our shower walls as well. Having two spaces for shavers is nice but they're a little close together.
