These were a seriously good deal. I read on some of the reviews that these ran a little bigger, so I ordered an XXL - I am typically a 22/24 with a really big booty that takes up most of the room. I ordered these in light steel [which is your typical grey sweatpant color], and sizzling pink [a very vibrant pink]. Both of the pairs I got did in fact run larger. They fit me just fine, I was a little concerned there wouldn't be enough room in them because when I sat down they creeped down - but they stretched out after a little while and fit perfect! Ample leg and thigh room, and these are on the longer side as well. If I leave the house with them on [I rarely do, but in case I need to go to the gas station or something], I tuck them into my boots because they will touch the ground on me. They are very warm and well insulated. I ordered a medium. My waist is about 31 inches. These were at least five inches too large around the waist and possibly more. 2. My hips are about 41 inches. Although these were huge around the waist, they were fairly snug on the hips. That and the amount of material in front and back makes me think that these were designed for men. In fact, they fit like men's sweatpants I've put on by mistake. 3. I didn't wash these, but when they came out of the packaging, they smelled more strongly of dye than any clothes I've bought in my life. And by dye, in this case I mean they smelled not even like normal clothing dye, but more like paint. This made me doubt the color fastness. 4. They were overly long.
