JaybirdTM Thermowell with Grommet Fits ALL Sizes and Models of Speidel Fermenters. NorCal Brewing Solutions brings you this 304 stainless steel thermowell with grommet custom designed to fit ALL models and sizes of Speidel plastic fermenters and plastic storage tanks. YES! YOU CAN HAVE AN AIRLOCK AND A THERMOWELL on top of your Speidel! Rubber grommet snaps into the 1/2" drilled hole. Accepts standard 3/8" airlocks including "Double Bubble" S-Shaped airlocks and 3-piece "barrel" airlocks. Thermowell is 14" long, with a 5/16" inner opening. Able to accept large thermocouplers. Replaces stock Speidel plastic airlock / bung assembly, and uses stock Speidel lock ring for attachment. Includes our custom-manufactured silicone "V-groove" gasket for superior leak-free performance. Replaces standard rubber gasket provided by Speidel.
