But at this price, I don't think it's worth returning.I like to have more than one pencil sharpener, for my purse and for my vanity at home, so I was really happy to buy more than one from ELF. Even the average drugstore brand's pencil sharpener can costs up to [$] which is insane because it's just a pencil sharpener. The first sharpener I tried was a total flop. The plastic nearest to the blade seemed to stop shorter than it should have and ended up blunting the tip of any pencil I put in. As a result, the tip would fall off. I tried sharpening a few pencils, from my cheapest brands, up to my more expensive ones, and each one broke at the tip. I didn't want to waste anymore product so I just threw that sharpener away! Luckily, the other two sets worked just fine, though I noticed one of the smaller sharpers, the separate one with just one hole, was a little tight at the opening - I had to push the pencil in a little to get it in.I imagine ELF manufactures/purchases their products in large amounts to maintain such low prices so it's not surprising that quality control is a little lacking.
