The Ship Plane features an adjustable spring steel sole which is adjustable by means of a gear assembly on the side of the plane. A large knob on top of the plane makes this adjustment fast and easy. A brass knob at the rear of the plane adjusts the cutting depth. Plane body is 10 1/4'' long. 44mm (1 3/4'') cutting iron width.
